'Wreaths Across America' comes to South Paris

SOUTH PARIS - On Saturday, November 27, “Wreaths Across America” will be stopping by the Maine Veterans’ Home in South Paris as it makes its way to Arlington National Cemetery where they will be placing wreaths on the graves of veterans. Bunnie O’Leary, board member of Wreaths Across America, will be presenting six wreaths while at the South Paris facility. Wreaths will be presented to the Maine Veterans Home, Norway American Legion, South Paris American Legion, South Paris V.F.W., Oxford American Legion and Western Maine Marine Detachment. Posts and auxiliaries interested may bring and post their colors for the program. Flag stands will be provided.

Ceremonies will begin at 1 p.m. at the Maine Veterans’ Home and is open to the public. For more information, call the facility, located at 477 High St., at 743-6300.
