SMH honors volunteers

NORWAY – At a luncheon in the Harper Conference Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 29, Western Maine Health and Market Square Health Care Center volunteers were celebrated and recognized for their dedication and commitment.

Over 90 volunteers, ranging in age from 16 to 94, who work in areas from the cafeteria, to coffee shop, and the thrift shop, or as greeters, and more, were in attendance at the luncheon and they enjoyed catching up with friends and acquaintances.

Sharon Nightingale, Volunteer Services Coordinator and part of the Human Resources Department at SMH thanked volunteers for all that they do on a daily basis all year long.

Forms for membership and volunteering are available on the www.wmhcc.org website or from Sharon Nightingale at Human Resources. Stephens Memorial Hospital is part of Western Maine Health, a member of MaineHealth; visit www.wmhcc.org.
