Cheese tasting slated
NORWAY – On Saturday, November 13, indulge your taste buds and delight your senses. From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., this food-tasting event will offer an in-depth presentation of culinary artisanal cheeses made by Maine crafters. This is much more than just food tasting; it is a fun and informative event. Our cheeses of Maine host Laura Wright will expand your knowledge of cheese types, textures, and cheese presentation and show you how to incorporate ease and elegance into your home entertaining.
As a guest, you will learn about the method, discipline, and beauty of the processes in cheese making and Café Nomad’s owner Scott Berk will present information on the pairing of wines with cheese. The variety of cheeses will vary from soft to aged, goat to cow; this tasting event is sure to leave you with a firsthand understanding and appreciation of the unique art of cheese making.
