Paris Memorial plans annouced

PARIS — The parade will form at 10 a.m. at the courthouse on Western Avenue and step off at 10:30 a.m. or when the band arrives from Harrison. \

The ceremony at the cemetery is as follows:

Master of Ceremonies – Art Hill

Invocation – John Williams

National Anthem – Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Band

Pledge of Allegiance – Led by Art Hill
 General Logan’s General Order #11 – Gil Turner

President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address – Joshua Little

“In Flanders Field” – Boys State representative

America’s Answer to “In Flanders Field” — Girls State representative

Memorial Day Address – Tom Windsor

Memorial to sailors of all wars – Auxiliary President Donna J. Snay

"Taps" – High school band

Benediction – John Williams

Parade reforms, musical selection and march back to Legion Hall for ice cream and/or popsicles with George Brown
