LRC nutrition, cancer program set

NORWAY — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital (SMH) offers Nutrition and Cancer Prevention, to be held on Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The program will meet at Hannaford (1603 Main Street) in Oxford. There is no cost for this program.

What does nutrition have to do with cancer? Plenty! Learn about the foods that help you live healthier and reduce your cancer risk with registered dietitian and nutrition coordinator, Dona Forke, from the Oxford Hannaford. This class will focus on some of the key foods and ingredients that have been shown to help prevent cancer and why they are so important.
