FRYEBURG — A benefit supper for Bryson Herlihy and family will be held Saturday, April 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Fryeburg. Bryson is a two-year-old with Ewings sarcoma, a rare type of cancer. He has had surgery and is in a full body cast and continues chemo treatments.
The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. The menu includes casseroles, salads, baked beans, rolls, beverages and desert. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and a Chinese auction table.
Participating are Assembly of God, Congregational, New Church and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, all of Fryeburg.
Please come and help this family.
SOUTH PARIS — A Chinese auction to benefit Relay for Life will be held Saturday, April 30 at Oxford Hills Middle School cafeteria. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the auction will begin at 1 p.m.
There will be gift certificates as well as items to auction off. Come buy your tickets and see what great gifts you will walk away with. They are raffling a mountain bike as well.
The Key Bank team is hosting this event and will be selling food and drink throughout the day. Food items include chop suey, chili, hot dogs, popcorn, chips, soda and water. Please come and help support this great cause.
CASCO — The Casco Village Church United Church of Christ, 941 Meadow Road (Route 121) in Casco, invites you to enjoy a delicious traditional Saturday night supper on April 30, from 5 to 6 p.m. Enjoy casseroles, salads, beans, ham, rolls and of course their famous homemade pies. All for only $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12, and this includes rolls and beverages. Families with small children can eat for $20 max. Bring your friends and family and dine in the Village.
OXFORD — DancingTrees' annual Earth Day challenge will take place on Saturday, April 23. Four “Prize Patrol” vehicles filled with exciting prizes will leave DancingTrees in search of households participating in “Earth Day” activities. Prizes will be awarded for raking, gardening, picking up trash and debris, pruning trees and plants and repairing dirt driveways - you get the idea.
OXFORD — On Saturday, April 23 from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Oxford Recreation will be hosting an Easter Party at the Recreation Building for all Oxford residents. There will be games and prizes from 10 to 11 a.m. and an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Come join in the fun and excitement.
WEST PARIS — The West Paris Fire Auxiliary is looking for donations for a yard sale being held on Saturday, May 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hilltop Pools on Route 26. Donations may be dropped off at Hilltop Pools on Friday, May 20, or call 674-5890 for pickup.
SOUTH PARIS — There will be a free dinner on Wednesday, May 4, at 6 p.m. at the VFW Hall on Main Street in South Paris. This is for returning veterans who have served on foreign soil. Bring a friend.
NORWAY — Community Child Care Center of Norway is holding a Home Vendor Fair on Saturday, July 9 at 16 Paris Street, Norway in the parking lot. BETHEL — Endurance Riding will be the topic at the Mahoosuc Land Trust Local Knowledge Series on Wednesday, April 27, at 7 p.m. at Trustees Auditorium, McLaughlin Science Building, Gould Academy in Bethel. Kathy Brunjes and Tom Hutchinson will talk about their participation in Endurance Riding events both nationally and international of charge. Donations will be accepted to help fund the programs.
OTISFIELD — On Saturday, April 23, an Easter egg hunt will be held at the Otisfield Community School. Children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, should bring a basket or bag and meet at the school. Sign in starts at 10:30 a.m. and the hunt begins at 11 a.m. sharp. This event will be held rain or shine.
HARTFORD — The Hartford Heritage Society is holding a plant sale on Saturday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the J. & O. Irish Museum on Main Street/Route 140 in Hartford Center.
Featured will be perennials, annuals, houseplants, seedlings and bulbs. There will also be a raffle of garden baskets. You might win the door prize.
BUCKFIELD — A benefit supper for Project Graduation will be held Saturday, May 7, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Masonic Hall in Buckfield. Donations will be accepted so pay what you wish.
The menu will include spaghetti, meatballs and vegetarian sauces, tossed salad, rolls, beverages and frosted cake.
SOUTH PARIS — A public pasta supper, including salad, various desserts, and make your own ice cream sundaes, will be held Friday, April 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the American Legion hall, 12 Church St. in South Paris. Tickets are available in advance from Relay for Life committee members or at the door, and cost $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 years and under. Attendees may also participate in raffles and a 50/50 drawing.

SOUTH PARIS — A spring sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Deering United Methodist Church in South Paris. The sale will include rummage items, baked goods and RADA cutlery.
OXFORD — The Oxford Hills Assembly of God at 298 Coldwater Brook Road will be holding yard sales on May 28, June 25, July 30 and August 27.
