Dempsey Center presents variety show

LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing at Central Maine Medical Center is offering a free five-week workshop for children and teens bursting with talent or craving the spotlight. “Kids Who Care: Cancer Variety Show” will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning April 19, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. at CMMC, 12 High Street. Conference rooms will vary between H and I.

The variety show, featuring individual and group performances, will be held during the eighth and final meeting on May 17. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. Any donations received will benefit the Center’s Healing Tree Children’s Program supply fund.
