SWOAM presents program

SOUTH PARIS — SWOAM (Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine) is sponsoring a meeting at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22 on the Maine Tree Growth Tax as well as other current use tax programs such as Open Space and Farmland.

Senior property appraisers from Maine Revenue Services will join Merle Ring, district forester with the Maine Forest Service, to discuss these programs along with bills pending before the Legislature that could affect Tree Growth. The meeting will be in the Forum. The public is welcome and there is no charge.
