RUMFORD — Research Biologist David Yates will be presenting "Bat Hibernation and Basic Bat Biology" on Friday, March 18 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Rumford Library, as part of the Mahoosuc Land Trust's Local Knowledge Series. Did you know that two of the three bat caves in Maine are located in Rumford? The event is open to the public and free of charge; donations welcomed.
