Benefit for Donald Simoneau
FAYETTE -- On Dec. 1st, 2012 there will be a spaghetti supper at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jay to benefit Donald Simoneau.
The supper takes place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The price is $8 per adult, $5 12 years and under, and 5 years and under are free. Donations may be sent to: The American Legion Post 10, 17 Reynolds Ave., Livermore Falls, ME 04254.
Donald is a Veteran of the Army Reserve. He also was the Commander for the American Legion Post 10 for many years.
Since February, he has had multiple surgeries and hospitalizations in MMC in Portland and CMMC of Lewiston. Following the last major surgery in August he has had very serious, life-threatening sepsis blood infections that have pushed his immune system to the breaking point. His medical bills and related costs have pushed his family budget to the max.
Donald has helped so many in the communities for many years. Now, the American Legion, family and friends would like to help him in his time of need.
Family and friends are all very grateful for all the businesses, non-profit organizations, and family and friends who are helping in a big way to make this benefit a success for the Simoneau's.
A silent auction, 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction will be held. There will also be take out orders.
