Local author's 10th book released

SOUTH PARIS — Patricia Probert Gott, a local author who resides in South Paris, has just released her tenth book, “Searching for a Magpie.”

After touring China and Tibet the month of September 2010, she writes of her adventures traveling from Beijing in eastern China to Xian and to the central city of Chengdu, then from Lhasa, Tibet in the Himalayas, to the old city of Chongqing, then down the Yangtze River past the new Three Gorges Dam to the port city of Shanghai. The book contains 50 full color photos helping readers visualize the author’s fascinating adventures.
