Dance

HARRISON — A BYOB dance will be held Saturday, February 18, from 8 to 12 p.m. at the Harrison VFW Post 9328 on Route 35 in Harrison. The cost will be $10 per person 21 and over. The kitchen will be selling hot dogs, chips, soda and popcorn and ice will be provided.

Music will be provided by the Rockin' Roadrunners.

Socrates Café

WATERFORD — A Socrates Café gathering will be held at the Waterford Library on Monday, March 5, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month. The group offers a forum to discuss current topics and ideas in a warm, friendly atmosphere, where divergent views will be welcome.

The topic for the March meeting will be "Cooperativism: An Alternative to Capitalism?" The moderator will be Ed Somers.

Bridge

WATERFORD — The Waterford Library sponsors an informal bridge group that meets at the library the fourth Monday of each month. The next meeting is on Monday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m.

No partner is necessary. Players with a basic knowledge of bridge are welcome. The goal is to have fun and learn from each other.

Supper, dance

PARIS — A sweetheart supper and dance, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, will be held Saturday, February 18, at the Legion Hall on Church Street in South Paris. The ham supper will be from 5 to 6 p.m. and the dance from 6:30-9:30 p.m. with the Jones Band. The cost will be $7 for supper only and $5 for the dance only.

Turkey

NORWAY — The Norway Firemen's Relief Association will be holding a roast turkey supper on Saturday, February 18 at 5-6 p.m. at the Norway fire station. The meal will consist of turkey, mashed potatoes, two veggies, salads, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls, beverage and dessert. The cost is adults $7, 12 and under $3 and under six free.
