Babysitter training course set

BRIDGTON — The Bridgton Community Center will be offering an American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course on Thursday, February 24 and Friday, February 25. The classes are from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Attendees will receive a certificate at the end of the two-day course.

The basic course gears toward 11 to 14 year-old youth, teaching them information on Leadership: Safe and Responsible Babysitting, Basic Care: The Heart of Babysitting, Stop: Think Safety, Safe Play, and Basic First Aid including infant and child CPR.

Fee for this class will be $55, which covers the cost of the book and a CD as well as other information that participants will be able to take home with them for reference.

Class size is limited to 10 candidates. Bring a bag lunch.
