After School Special at the Library

NORWAY — Kids who like the Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan can sign up for this program based on the Greek god Pan on Tuesday, February 8, from 3:15-4:15 p.m. at the Norway Memorial Library.

All kids in first through sixth grades are invited to join the After School Special program at the Norway Memorial Library. The February program focuses on the Percy Jackson series and specifically the Greek god Pan.

The After School Special program will tie in with the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series of books. Pan is mentioned in "The Lightening Thief," "The Sea of Monsters," "The Titans Curse" and "The Last Olympian." In "The Battle of the Labyrinth," Pan is one of the main characters. The books and discussions will not disappoint kids that are interested in mythology. They will be creating their own musical instruments in honor of Pan and his flute.

To register for this program, or for more information on children’s programs, please call the library at 743-5309 ext. 4.
