Library offers class in downloading books

MECHANIC FALLS — The Mechanic Falls Library will be hosting a class in downloading books from the web to the home computer. For everyone who received an e-book for Christmas and wants to be able to download books for free, there will be a demo at the Mechanic Falls Library on Wednesday, February 16 at 7 p.m. Attendees will also be shown how to download books to a readable CD and to other assorted appliances. A valid Mechanic Falls Library card is all that is necessary. The Mechanic Falls Library participates in the Maine Infonet Download Library.
