Historical Society to sponsor book discussion

BETHEL — Randall H. Bennett, Executive Director of the Bethel Historical Society, announced this week that a "History Book Discussion Group" is being organized by Society President William D. Andrews and Associate Director Stanley R. Howe, and that both men also will serve as facilitators during the discussion sessions. The first meeting of the group is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, in the Society's Robinson House at 10 Broad Street in Bethel Hill village.

The History Book Discussion Group is open to anyone who wishes to share and exchange ideas and opinions on a variety of history books. Participants at the first meeting will be asked to suggest ideas on topics and format; they will also be encouraged to recommend specific books for consideration by the group.
