Civilian Safety program scheduled
SCARBOROUGH — A SABRE Civilian Safety Awareness Program (CSAP) will be held at Cabela’s in Scarborough on Saturday, January 22, from 12-3 p.m. Cost is $65.
This three-hour program will teach you how to avoid dangerous encounters. Unfortunately, all dangerous encounters cannot be avoided; so CSAP will also teach you safety awareness tips, how to carry and properly deploy SABRE pepper spray, verbal commands and presence, practical training drills using inert, practice/training sprays, post deployment advice and simple self defense techniques.
Become proficient and accurate when using your SABRE pepper spray by deploying water-filled, inert practice sprays at static targets. Advance your skills by deploying the practice spray at your instructor during a simulated attack.
Be smart - be ready - be safe.
CSAP students will receive SABRE CSAP student manual, three SABRE inert, practice/training sprays, quick release key ring, most popular SABRE defense spray with quick release key ring and attachment clip, survivor tools for smart living and certificate of completion.
Instructors will be Joshua White and Alan Coffin. For more information, contact 739-9774 or wmepropertyprotection.com. Class size is limited to the first 15 registered.
Hosted by Western Maine Property Protection LLC. Please send payment to Western Maine Property Protection LLC, 38 Huntington Ave, Norway, ME 04268. Candidates must register five days prior to the class.
