Math fun set at Norway library

NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library will be host of a Math Fun event on Thursday, January 20 from 3:15-4:45 p.m. This event is free and open to all children and parents from pre-k to grade six. There will be stations set up around the children’s room to demonstrate mathematical concepts for both beginners and older students. To register please call the library at 743-5309 x4.

The Math Fun program will feature a variety of different mathematical concepts in a fun, stress-free environment. Some of the stations will include patterns, counting and shapes. This is a great opportunity for families to experience the joy of math together, bring some friends and make an outing of it. Before you leave the library make sure to check out a book about math to enjoy as a family. Numerous books featuring math will be on display in the children’s room during the program.
