Beekeeping course offered

SOUTH PARIS — The University of Maine Cooperative Extension, in conjunction with the Western Maine Beekeeping Association, will be offering a four-week beekeeping short course on Wednesday evenings, February 15 and 22 and March 1 and 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Extension office in South Paris.

“This course is perfect for people considering getting into beekeeping, but not ready to make the greater time commitment for the longer course in Mexico,” says Barbara Murphy, Extension Educator. “Our association with the beekeeping association allows interested people to participate in their field days and open hive events.”
