Poland Person to Person potluck program planned

POLAND — Banish winter chills and claustrophobia with the warmth of hot comfort food and friendly visiting among neighbors.

Friends of Ricker Library will host the next Person to Person program in the Community Room of the library in Poland on January 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Guests will be entertained by drama students taught by D’Arcy Robinson at Poland Regional High School. Dinner is potluck and guests are asked to bring a casserole, salad or dessert to share.

Following the dinner and conversation hour, students will present a series of 10-minute pieces: "Captain Neato Man" (Tyler Myers and Elijah Breton), "God Must Be Tired of Us" (Elijah Breton), "The Pied Piper of Hamlin" (Vici Hirsh), "The Boys in the Band" (Eli Murphy and Irina Breton) and "Poetry by R. Dahl" (Nigel Williams and Eli Murphy).

Everyone is invited to an evening that promises to promote well being.
