BRIDGTON — Sign up now for Computer Aided Drafting, an eight-week program on Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m., starting January 29. The fee is $20 for the Bridgton Community Center program.

Learn how to create a working (orthographic two-dimensional) drawing using a CAD (computer aided design) program. This course covers the fundamentals used in a CAD program. Topics covered in the course are third angle projection, creating lines, line types, editing and dimensioning. Some prior knowledge in the use of a computer and mechanical drafting principles would be helpful but not required. Your hands-on-course will be taught by Phil Blaney, retired voc. tech. teacher, certified in machining with over 40 years experience with tool and gauge. Classes are limited to six students.
