Person on the Street

I don't even vote myself. I never have in my life.

I vote on whether the issues correspond with the area. Is the issue right for the area? I don't think slot machines are good for the area.

I actually don't vote. I usually don't have a strong opinion on the candidates. Generally, I think that if you don't vote, you shouldn't complain. If I were to vote this time around, I would vote yes on the casino, because we need the jobs.

I do as much research as I can. If they have been in office for any length of time, it's time for them to go. If they're not listening to voters, they REALLY need to go.

I try to pick the best person. I don't go by politics. I don't go by party. I'll vote for Republicasn, Democrats, Independents. I've voted for them all, as long as their ideas are in line with what I believe. Right now, we need to balance our budget.

I don't vote for career politicians. They're in there for their own power, and their own party. It's all partisan, partisan, partisan. A career politician is ineffective. I support term limits for federal and state positions.
