What is the one thing in the Oxford Hills area that a visitor should not miss?

There are a lot of nice things here. Hiking on Streaked Mountain, or boating on Norway Lake. Skiing at Mt. Abram or Sunday River, or going to the Deertrees Theatre. I don't think it's just one thing.

Visiting the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Norway on Sundays. That's what I'm doing while I'm here.

I would say Founders' Day up on Paris Hill. You can go in the second week of July to see all the old cars; you can see Bob Bahre's whole collection.

We like Grafton Notch. There's a half-mile hike that we like to go up.

I just think the nature and the beauty of it. Typically, there's no traffic. You don't have to look far to find nature around here. It's everywhere.

I'd say the lakes and the general atmosphere. We have a camp on Pennesseewassee. We enjoy boating and just hanging out. The kids like to go tubing and waterskiing.

They should visit the surrounding lakes and campgrounds. I like Two Lakes, and Vacationland Campground in Harrison. The fishing ain't bad there. This is a place where you can just relax and enjoy yourself.

I like going to Crazy Eights. You can shoot pool and listen to good music. You don't have to be 21 to shoot pool there.

Definitely the local arts scene. There are good young musicians, good old musicians, and lots of great artists around here. A good place to see them is Open Mic Night at Café Nomad.

The lakes. I like McWain Lake; it's quiet and not as crowded as some. There are many nice lakes in the area: Pennesseewassee and Little Penn, Keoka, Thompson, Sand Pond, Island Pond.
