Give 10 celebrated by Stone-Smart

NORWAY — The Give 10 Program and Education Week in America were recently celebrated by Stone-Smart Unit 82 American Legion Auxiliary of Norway, and Guy E. Rowe Elementary School. Secretary at Guy E. Rowe School, Pat Prange, received donated gifts from Joyce Clifford, president of Stone-Smart. She presented 350 pencils and two books chosen by the teachers titled “We the Kids-the Preamble of the Constitution of the United States” by David Cathrow and “We Live Here, Too-Good Citizenship” by Nancy Loewen along with cookies and snacks for the teachers and staff.

Joyce Clifford and Barbara Henley, Education/Child and Youth Americanism chairperson of Stone-Smart worked together with the support of Auxiliary members to provide the greatly needed school supplies.
