Immonen to speak at the Finnish-American Society

WEST PARIS — Cynthia Immonen will present a program called “How Christmas came to New England,” which explains the European origin of many of our traditional celebrations, at the monthly meeting of the Finnish-American Society of Maine, on Sunday, December 19, at 2 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Finnish-American Heritage Center on 8 Maple Street in West Paris. A brief business meeting will be held prior to the program and a coffee social will close out the day. The public is welcome to attend.
