Black wins black powder rifle

WEST PARIS — Nathan Black of Woodstock was the proud winner of a black powder rifle raffle held last Saturday, at the West Paris Historical Society’s annual hunter and family breakfast. Thank you to the Milton and Eleanor Inman three-generation family, along with helpers, the David Wings, the Joneses, the Wayne Penleys, Gil and Peg Turner and a special thank you to everyone else who helped and a thank you to all the special customers.

On Monday, November 15, at 6 p.m. the last meeting of the West Paris Historical Society for the 2010 season will be held at the hall with a potluck supper, a short business meeting and a long fellowship afterwards. Help is needed to pick up the handicap ramp and put it on the concrete pad for the winter.

The Christmas meeting will be held at the home of Curators, Elaine and Norman Emery.
