Events scheduled at Scout camps

STATEWIDE — Girl Scouts of Maine will be hosting open house events at their four camp properties to give families an opportunity to see for themselves what camp is all about.

On Sunday, June 3, Camp Kirkwold in Readfield and Camp Natarswi, located just inside Baxter State Park, will welcome visitors from 1 - 4 p.m.

Camp Pondicherry in Bridgton and Camp Scelkit in Kittery Point will host open house events from 1 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 10.

Families visiting a camp will take a walking tour of the grounds, meet some of the camp staff and learn about Girl Scouts of Maine's traditional, skills-building camp programs as well as specialty camp offerings.
