A Nutcracker Christmas fair slated

OTISFIELD - The East Otisfield Free Baptist Church will host a Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 11 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.  and on Sunday, December 12, after the morning service. The fair gets its name from Polly Durant's nutcracker collection which will be on exhibit at the fair. Mrs. Durant has been collecting nutcrackers for more years than she can remember. The collection boasts dozens of nutcrackers doing everything from fishing to merely standing still looking majestic. Mrs. Durant will be happy to discuss her collection with fair goers.

As in the past, the fair will offer food, crafts and a white elephant table, as well as Christmas ornaments. Coffee and goodies will be available. Come do some Christmas shopping, enjoy the nutcrackers, and have a cup of coffee with friends. All monies raised at the fair will be added to the Scholarship Fund, which awards grants to area students seeking education beyond high school. The church is located on the Rayville Road off Route 121 in Otisfield.
