Christmas services planned at Casco church

CASCO - The Casco Village Church United Church of Christ, Route 121 in Casco Village, invites everyone to join in this Christmas and share in God's gracious and extravagant welcome in this open and affirming church.

On Tuesday, December 21, take "A Christmas Breath" at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary - a time of quiet peacefulness to think about what is in your heart at Christmas...with quiet music playing, candles lit... an atmosphere for taking a breath.

On Christmas Eve, join in at 7 p.m. for a Pageant Service, with Youth Choirs singing. It's a wonderful service for families, with children participating as angels, shepherds, kings, and the Holy Family - and a special children's message from Pastor Joyce. At 11 p.m., it's the beautiful and mystical Candlelight Service, with the adult choir singing, ending with Silent Night sung outside around the Creche as the clock strikes midnight - Baby Jesus is born and Christmas has come. Celebrate the hope, peace, joy and love of the Christmas season at the little Church in the Village. Merry Christmas and God bless.
