Oxford Networks Donates $500 to Maine Children’s Home For Little Wanderer’s Christmas program

LEWISTON — Oxford Networks donated $500 to the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderer’s Christmas Program as part of the Mix 107.9 holiday promotion. Julia Munsey with Oxford Networks presented the check to Steve Mayberry, development director for the Maine Children’s Home.

According to Munsey this is the third year Oxford Networks has supported this program. “As a Maine based company we are happy to give back to the communities we serve. The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers does great work across the state supporting children and families and we are pleased to support them in their effort.”

Steve Mayberry accepted the donation on behalf of the organization and talked about how important community support is for the program. “Our programs touch children and families across the state of Maine and without the generous support of individuals and businesses we would not be able to have the success we do. We are very grateful to Oxford Networks for the donation.”

Every year, the Christmas Program at The Maine Children's Home distributes boxes of gifts and clothing to approximately 1,600 financially disadvantaged children throughout the state. It is the only program of its kind that provides new toys, books, games and new, warm clothing to boys and girls throughout Maine.
