OHCA appoints new administrator

PARIS — The Board of Trustees at Oxford Hills Christian Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Lane as School Administrator.

With more than 35 years experience in education, Lane brings expertise in educational leadership, special education, early childhood education, home schooling and mental health to her new role.

“We are very pleased to have Andrea Lane as our new School Administrator,” said Board Chairman, Jon Proctor. “She brings a broad background in school administration and a solid understanding of the educational needs of a diverse student body.”

With a Masters degree in Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Maine Farmington, Lane has served as Special Education Director/Principal of Elan School in Poland, Education Director for Becket Family Services of Belgrade and Principal of Sebago Elementary School.

In addition to her work with these organizations she is the Director/Owner of Western Maine Educational Services, providing review services to home schooling families and teaching Wilson Reading. Lane, who lives in Greenwood, is an organic gardener who enjoys spending time with her 11 grandchildren along with hiking, canoeing, walking, reading, writing, singing and crafts.
