SMH welcomes Josie Poulin, RN as Clinical Nurse Educator

NORWAY — Alison Newton, RN, Nurse Director of Emergency Services and The Family Birthplace at Stephens Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Josie Poulin, RN, BSN has been hired as the Clinical Nurse Educator in the Emergency Room at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Josie has been a Registered Nurse for 12 years. Josie most recently worked as a Charge Nurse and Nurse Educator at an Outpatient Dialysis Clinic since 2007. Prior to her position at the Dialysis Clinic, Josie worked as an emergency room staff nurse at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Stephens Memorial Hospital and Maine Medical Center for several years.

Josie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role. She will provide continuing education to new and existing staff, assist with the revision/development of policies and procedures, as well as working as a clinical staff nurse in the Emergency Room.

Josie resides in Turner with her husband and their two children.
