Richard Bader Physical therapy staff continue education

NORWAY/POLAND/BRIDGTON - Richard Bader Physical Therapy staff members are committed to staying current on education and continue to grow professionally throughout their careers. Their therapists have chosen courses that will further help in the treatment of patients at their three clinics. Jill Beaucage, PT and Carley A. Packard, PTA attended a course for Evaluation and Treatment of Incontinence in August. This course is an external approach to continence training. Paul Fecteau, PT, SCS, ATC furthered his education in Manual Therapy completing a course of Applied Techniques of Manual Therapy, The Basics of Sacroiliac Mobilization. Rainie Weimer, PT also attended a Therapeutic Yoga: Bridging Ancient Practices with Traditional Therapy Techniques.

Athletic trainers Tim Beagan, PTA, ATC and Mallory Wilson, ATC, PES attended the Boston University Conference on Head Trauma and the Athlete for the second year in a row. With concussions being a hot topic in sports and young athletes today, both Tim and Mallory are educated on the proper treatment and management of concussions. This allows them to provide the highest standard of healthcare for the athletes at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, Lake Region High School and Poland Regional High School.
