Harry Potter coming to Norway

NORWAY - Harry Potter Mania will be coming to the Norway Memorial Library on November 16 from 3:15-5 p.m. Come experience the magic as the Children’s Room is transformed into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the afternoon. Children and Harry Potter lovers of all ages are invited to attend the festivities. Please register at the library in order to reserve a spot at the program or drop in during the event.

The library will be hosting this Harry Potter Mania party in honor of the release of the seventh movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, on November 19. The festivities will include potions, wand making in Diagon Alley, Divination, Tri-Wizard trivia and a snitch scavenger hunt.

All participants are encouraged to dress the part. School cloaks, hats, and house colors are highly encouraged. Don’t forget that Gryffindor colors are red and gold, Ravenclaw are blue and bronze, Hufflepuff are yellow and black, and Slytherin are green and silver. Participants who are unsure of which house to join can attend and let the sorting hat decide.
