The Oddfellow Theater to present 'Bah Hoonchbach a Very Odd Christmas Carol'

BUCKFIELD - The Oddfellow Theater in Buckfield will present "Bah Hoonchbach - a Very Odd Christmas Carol" on December 16, 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on the 18th and 19th at 2 p.m. Tickets for matinees are $8 for all ages. Tickets for evening shows are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and $8 for children 12 and under.

This timeless Buckfield classic returns for its fifth year. Moto Hoonchbach, Fritz Grobe, Jason Tardy, Casey Turner, George Dunn and more return for this annual comedic retelling of Charles Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol." Bates College Theater Director Paul Kuritz said of the show, "This was quite simply the most entertaining and moving 'Christmas Carol' I have ever seen on stage. (And my wife and son agree.) In fact, I haven’t seen anything as funny and moving as Miclon’s Dickens classic since I saw Charles Ludlam’s 'Camille' in New York."

The Oddfellow Theater's version of a Christmas Carol includes the same great story mixed with hilarious improvisations, audience participation and just the right touch of sweetness to make for the perfect holiday performance. This show is great for all ages.
