Next Open Mic night will be November 26

NORWAY - The next Norway Open Mic Night will be held on Friday, November 26 at the First Universalist Church, 479 Main St. in Norway. Sign up for performers begins at 6:30 p.m. and the open mic begins at 7 p.m.  A $3 donation  is requested at the door; refreshments will be available.

Now in its ninth year, the Norway Open Mic Night is hosted by its founder, Vessel Recordings artist Heather Pierson, and continues its tradition of opening the stage to any and all who wish to share their talents, regardless of age or ability. Everyone from children to professional performers are invited on the last Friday of every month to take part. In its colorful history, the Norway Open Mic stage has been graced by singer/songwriters, poets, writers, dancers, comedians, jugglers, magicians, and much more! It is a family-friendly event located at this beautiful and historic church, and participation is not required.

With the holiday season upon us, the Norway Open Mic Night is also collecting non-perishable food donations for the Oxford Hills Food Pantry to help that organization cope with the growing need for assistance.
