Buxton Garden Club to hold Tree Festival

BUXTON - Buxton Garden Club is again presenting the Tree Festival. This year will be the 20th annual festival. It will be held at Bar Mills Community Church, 13 Hermit Thrush Road in Buxton, on December 6-13. Hours are 1-8 p.m. daily. Anyone may decorate and bring an artificial tree to the festival on December 5 from noon to 3:30 p.m.

There will be many wonderful events taking place during this week. All performance are free and open to the public.

Sunday, December 5 at 4 p.m. - A regional Advent Choir program

Monday, December 6 at 7 p.m. - Country Bluegrass music

Tuesday, December 7 at noon: - Luncheon - also take out. Donation of $5 for "Keep the Heat On!"

Tuesday, December 7 at 3 p.m. - A program for the Buxton Recreation Department Afterschool Care program

Wednesday, December 8 at 10 a.m. - Decorate cookies with Mrs. Claus

Wednesday, December 8 at 7 p.m. - Musical evening

Thursday, December 9 at 7 p.m. - Floral design program by Blossoms of Windham

Friday, December 10 at 7 p.m. - BMCC Players will present a play

Saturday, December 11 at noon: A nutcracker tea for the young and old
