Shrine to hold tree festival

LEWISTON - Kora Shrine is hosting their fifth Annual FEZtival of Trees from November 20 - 27. This week-long event is one of central Maine's most spectacular holiday festivals. The historic building located on the corner of Main and Sabattus Streets in Lewiston will be decorated with over 60 Christmas trees. These trees will be raffled off and one lucky person for each tree will be selected to take home a fully decorated tree in time for Christmas.

Each of the trees has a specific theme. For example, the Maine Lottery tree is decorated with $500 of lottery tickets. In addition, a whole floor of the building is dedicated to crafters displaying their holiday wares as well as a silent auction.

General admission is only $2 and children under 12 are free. Concessions are also available.

Kora has also contracted with Santa and he has assured them he will be there every day taking requests from all the children that wish to visit him.
