WMAG opens mother, child show

Western Maine Art Group will host a First Friday opening November 5 , 5 - 8 p.m. featuring, Mother, Daughter, Son, Artists and Relatives.

The opening will be held at the Lajos Matolcsy Arts Center, 480 Main Street, Norway , Maine. This is an exhibit celebrating talent that carries forward to the next generation will be on display from November 5 -30.

The group is excited to feature Barbara Traficonte, Steve Traficonte and family, Natalie Reed, Julieanna Reed, and family to name a few of the participating artists. This show will run simultaneously with the Norway Bank Operations Center exhibit, also featuring Barbara Traficonte and son Steve Traficonte.

The artists involved work in a variety of medias from pastel, oil paints, oil pastels, fiber arts , photography ,metals. The rich heritage of family has many interesting results that warrant closer inspection.
