Monoprints at Gallery 302

BRIDGTON — Gallery 302 is pleased to have Melanie Barash Levitt as Guest Artist for the month of June. Ms. Levitt will be showing watercolor monoprints. There will be a public wine and cheese reception Friday, June 1 from 5-7 p.m.

Melanie has been an artist all her life, since she first picked up a crayon to draw. She always knew that she wanted to pursue a career in the Arts and was lucky enough to attend the Rhode Island School of Design where she received a BFA in Graphic Design. Ms. Levitt worked at various design firms in Boston, MA, on projects including redesigning school textbooks for Houghton Mifflin and as part of the creative team for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, GA.

The beauty and magnificence of the White Mountains that surround her are the inspiration for Melanie's work. She hopes you can find a piece of your own life within some of her pieces of art.
