'Bloom'in art - don't miss it!

Go home, look at your calendar, and in the square that reads “May 4,” write in “Go see art show in Fare Share Commons,” because you do not want to miss this.

On May 4, the Oxford Hills High School Graphic Design and Digital Imaging class is having a show, featuring some of their creative work from the year. Held in the Fare Share Commons at 443 Main Street in Norway, the art show starts with an opening reception at 6 and goes until 8 p.m.

The show, called “Bloom.” is being run by one of the high school’s graphic teachers Virginia Valdes, and the art was created by former and current graphic arts students. Although it’s an “art show,” it isn’t just art.

This show features some of the people in the community who foment positive change in the comunity, such as Café Nomad owner Scott Berk, and the ways people can create change in our community.

The students are also showing how change happens, and different kinds of change. “Bloom” is running until May 27, so go see it before it’s gone!
